About The Nurture Place

Imagine a community where every individual is seen, heard, loved, and in turn becomes a resilient, thriving member of society. Imagine every child and family experiencing healing from adversity and trauma. Imagine those experiencing medical trauma, divorce or poverty knowing they are not alone. All families and individuals deserve high quality resources and support.  The Nurture Place is an innovative mental wellness movement with a mission to bring the accessibility of trauma-informed resources to every family.  As a non-profit 501c3, we prioritize affordability by offering scholarships and low-cost services to children, individuals, and families.

About The Conference

Thriving Families: Building Resilient Children and Communities is a conference that equips and empowers professionals and leaders, caregivers and parents with research, stories, and expertise in order to better understand children, help build resilience, and learn valuable skills.

This conference is adapted and developed by The Nurture Place. Topics covered during this training are adapted from evidence-based curricula in collaboration with trained professionals, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, and TBRI Practitioners.

Where is the event being held?

When does the event start?

Registration opens at 9 am | Coffee will be served
Conference starts sharply at 9:30 am.

Where is the parking lot located?

There is plenty of parking available at the Healthy West Orange building.

Will we be sitting at a table?

All participants will be seated at round tables sitting 6 people.

What should I expect?

We will share our topics and speakers soon!

What is the dress code?

We encourage participants to wear comfortable attire and shoes, bring a sweater if you easily get cold in conference rooms. 

Will lunch be covered?

Lunch will not be covered. We will share more details soon about the lunch break!
