About The Nurture Place
Imagine a community where every individual is seen, heard, loved, and in turn becomes a resilient, thriving member of society. Imagine every child and family experiencing healing from adversity and trauma. Imagine those experiencing medical trauma, divorce or poverty knowing they are not alone. All families and individuals deserve high quality resources and support. The Nurture Place is an innovative mental wellness movement with a mission to bring the accessibility of trauma-informed resources to every family. As a non-profit 501c3, we prioritize affordability by offering scholarships and low-cost services to children, individuals, and families.
About The Conference
Thriving Families: Building Resilient Children and Communities is a unique curated experience taking place at The Nurture Place's office. We will feature mental health professionals speaking on important topics in the intimate setting of The Nurture Place. Thriving Families will take place from 9am-1pm, which includes a lunch and learn closing session where you can ask questions and interact with the speakers. Space is limited!
This conference is adapted and developed by The Nurture Place. Topics covered during this training are adapted from evidence-based curricula in collaboration with trained professionals, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, and TBRI Practitioners. Every year we bring you fresh topics!
