Capital Campaign
According to Mental Health America, ⅔ of children suffering with a mental health disorder in the U.S. do not receive help. And, Mental Health of America has ranked Florida 48th in the nation on access to mental health care.
The Nurture Place is dedicated to strengthening families by providing mental health wellness and family support programs in our community.
The Nurture Place has impacted over 250 families, provided over 25 programs, and empowered with support through over 1,150 therapy sessions.
As the needs of our community continue to grow in Orange County, a facility is necessary to provide quality, accessible, and holistic programs.
The goal of the campaign is to raise $1 million for the completion of a 3,800 square foot child-focused facility that can meet the current and future needs of the community. It will be entirely funded by generous donors from the community… like you!

The Nurture Place was the recipient of an Initiative Grant in 2021 from West Orange Healthcare District to provide funding to kick off the development of a dedicated, child-focused facility for family mental health and wellness programs in Winter Garden. Read the associated press release here.
